"THERE'S A SECRET IN OUR CULTURE, AND IT'S NOT THAT BIRTH IS PAINFUL. IT'S THAT WOMEN ARE STRONG."

Birth opens the door to a woman's strength in a way nothing else in this life can.  It touches your soul, and you are likely to experience every emotion imaginable. You may reach a point where you want to give up.

THIS IS WHY I'M HERE.

As a doula, I use techniques that have been passed down from generations and across cultures to counter the discomfort that birthing can bring. I'm knowledgeable in ideal birthing positions, stretches and exercises that can encourage baby to move down and reduce the length of labor. If your partner or a family member is present for your birth I can guide them through any or all of these techniques so that they are involved and present in this experience. My goal is to strengthen your partnerships during this intimate time; enhance your connection with those who love you.

As a birth photographer, I believe that birth is one of the greatest things you'll experience. Birth imagery is more than just capturing a moment. These photos tell a story, and whether it's your first, or you're already a seasoned parent, this story is unique and deserves to be told. You deserve to see your strength through a different lens. Birth images influence our birth culture, and our own views of what we are capable of. I want to SHOW you.
